I don't care too much for the laser shoot, so I would appreciate some changes to that, if it is to stay. However, I can't really give any useful input as to how it can be improved.

Thank you for asking the students for feedback.

What's the chance that this will be an event for division C next year?

Well, it's already in C, so I expect unless everyone at the SO Board hates it with a burning passion it'll continue into its second year.

I am opposed to points # 1,3 and 4.
Seconded.

I didn't have a covering on my mirror either. Also, we had 6 stations(6minutes each) plus the laser shoot, and two stations where you had to sit there doing nothing because there weren't enough stations for every team.
I wish we could've had more questions where we had to draw lines to show where the object would appear or which points would an observer be able to see if they were looking at a mirror. I was prepared to answer questions in which you had to say how small of a mirror someone needed to use in order to be able to see them self, too. I think there should have been questions on everything in the optics powerpoint.

Seconded seconded. x)

Although, to ensure fairness, keep the graphing calcs, just make everyone clear the memory as they walk into the door.... (although i do know tricks to get past this, but it takes a long time to get everything back, so the clear the memory thing works...)

IMO, definitely do not clear the calculator. Some people have things programmed into them for class.

What do you know to get around this that takes a long time to get around..? The way I could get around it takes literally 5 seconds..

I have tons of stuff programmed for my calculator but none for Optics. The way I see it, you're allowed a binder, so that's basically anything you want. Why clear the calculator?

Why allow programmable calculators if you don't allow programs?
