Re: Dynamic Planet B/C
I've made several Compute This tests before, you'd think they'd be relatively simple to make- they're not. Each has taken at least a couple of hours. DyPlan would, I think, be harder to make. These tests can be pretty hard to make, and none of them are perfect. Cut the supervisors some slack.

Re: Dynamic Planet B/C
Sigh, im telling you if you saw the tests at our regionals you'd take back all you've said. Yes, i understand making good tests is difficult, but these were not good tests.
On a side note, are there any formulas for Freshwater we should know?

Re: Dynamic Planet B/C
Not to belabor the point, but I don't think anybody was saying that your regional tests were good - I mean, how would we know? It's just that I don't think most people have any idea how long it takes to make a good test. The events I write usually end up taking me about 20 hours. I always think I'm going to get them done more quickly, but everything takes longer than you think.lllazar wrote:Sigh, im telling you if you saw the tests at our regionals you'd take back all you've said. Yeah, four sheets is a lot. It takes away from a lot of the learning involved with Science Olympiad.

Yeah. I mean honestly, we can just copy our notes, shrink them to 8pt. font, and we have our resource sheets.HannahD413 wrote:Yeah, four sheets is a lot. It takes away from a lot of the learning involved with Science Olympiad.
