Does anybody know what the general topics are for Fresh Water? I saw the post from Lakes and Rivers, but somehow I feel that there's gonna be a little more than that, but not as much as you guys seem to be predicting...
and 4 Pages? I think that's overkill, honestly...

I prefer the variant:
"Give a man a fire, and you keep him warm for a night. Set a man on fire, and you keep him warm for a lifetime."

On topic: I really don't find fresh water... Dynamic, though I'll probably end up on this event anyways. When was the last time rivers and lakes were the topic?

I posted a great list of stuff to start out on back in the old 2010 dynamic planet topic. Let me grab that and repost it here.
EDIT: found it. :D

Surface water:
Rivers and Streams
-drainage patterns
-the water cycle
-river and stream ageing/evolution
-fresh water deposition fetures(point bars, oxbow lakes, etc...)
-fresh water erosional features
-identifying ancient river velocity by photography(looking at a photo of an ancient river bed, and being able to give basic descriptions of river velocity. I will post an example on the wiki later.)
-topograhic map identification, drop rate
-base level features
-deltas and estuaries
-river behavior versus elevation(how a river acts at its source compared to its mouth)
-historic floods/droughts and analysis
Groundwater
-aquifer contamination
-groundwater depletion and calculation
-groundwater flow
-permeability factors
-porosity factors
-saltwater intrusion

Looking at this can give a really good base, and hopefully you can do further investigation/research from there.

*Virtually sends high five back" Thank you! I was proud of that list myself :D

Heres a question on groundwater im writing, and you guys get a sneak peak!

A well is drilled into sedimentary strata halfway down a hill, above an aquifer. A second well is drilled at the base of the hill directly into the aquifer. If contaminents are introduced into the groundwater system through a small well at the top of the hill, will both wells end up being contaminated?
