Dynamic Planet B/C
Re: Dynamic Planet B/C
Ok I have another question...I'm looking at letter i - Lake formation and types. Any suggestions for good resources? I haven't found much detail for faulting and rifting, only the mention that lakes can form along faults and in rifts...
Then, "changes over time" for the same topic - what is that referring to?
Thank you for your help!

What do you mean "faulting" and "rifting"? I read through 4 textbooks' worth of Dynamic Planet and I hadn't seen those word's mentioned yet.
Are you going to Scarborough Fair?

It is? I am hopelessly behind. T.T I guess I spend too much time reading manga and watching anime and then staying up late and studying.katzmeow wrote:I don't know, it's on the event sheet!
But that's....reassuring...I guess. haha.

Faulting and rifting sound like they are from last year. Are you sure you're studying earth's fresh water and not earthquakes and volcanoes?

Re: Dynamic Planet B/C
no its from this year.
They are a way of lake formation
You can have a river that flows across a fault line.
If that fault moved drastically upwards so that the flow of the river is stopped at the fault it would form a lake
Also if it where to move drastically sideways it could form a lake.
