Our regional was on last year's topic: earthquakes(no volcano ?'s on test) :o
Now that's something...some goof at our Regional did the same thing (except he DID put volcanoes on there).
That's...really bad, actually.

Yeah, after that not-so-good experience, I might as well study a little of last year's topic, just in case... :|

Hello--does anyone have practice tests that they can upload? So far I have 2 practice tests but I'm mainly using the practice test as a good tool to study.
Valley Forge Invitational 2012:
1st Microbe Mission (with 50/94 lol), 3rd Dynamic Planet, 4th Chem Lab (sigh..)

Central MD Regionals 2012:
1st Forensics, 1st Dynamic Planet, 2nd Microbe Mission, 2nd Chem Lab, 2nd Anatomy

Next time, you should bring a copy of the rules to the competition. If it happens again, maybe you can appeal.

What kind of stuff should we know about pollution in freshwater systems?

You should be able to know the difference between point and non-point source pollution. Also know sources of pollution.

We did bring rules, and tried to appeal, but they ignored us. At least they didn't used the finishes to calculate our total team score.

(Although we did get a little lucky and earned a 3rd place finish :D ;) )

Haha, that's excellent advice. Too bad I have nothing to do with this event; I'm just reporting what happened...which I can't believe happened in more than one place. :?

^^I do happen to know, though, that that info can be found on groundwater.org.
