It can be hard to tell size from a picture too, and size is often an important factor.Yeah and pictures aren't always accurate.
Yeah, we had one test that all the stations were black and white and you couldn't distinguish anything. The supervisors told us that if we needed a better look at a specimen, we could look at the original test that the copies were made from, but when there is a limited amount of time at each station, that wasn't practical. Whenever possible, samples are always preferable.Oh, I HATE black and white and low rez pics. It's so hard to distinguish shapes.They generally don't have a size key, and coloration can be off.
Seeing as Fossils is no longer an event...How does everybody deal with pictures without size key or that are blurry? We just make a guess, but are there any good hints?
