That simply means Division C participants can be tested on their knowledge of suture patterns for the four molluscs identified.

Hmm, oddly enough, the few fossils I've never seen in competition are only Homo Neanderthalensis and Jellyfish. What specimens have you guys never seen on tests?

What are the time ranges for Cypraeae, Lystrosaurus, Dimetrodon, and Coelophysis? And what was the mode of life/behavior of cypraea and worthenia?

Wikipedia is your friend.
Lystrosaurus
Fossil range: Late Permian–Early Triassic,
250–248 Ma
Dimetrodon
Fossil range: Cisuralian–Guadalupian, 280–265 Ma (Basically Mid-Late Permian)
Coelophysis
Fossil range: Late Triassic, 216.5–203.6 Ma

Cypraea is a carnivorous benthic marine
Worthenia filter feeds in marine sediments

Where'd you find that info for cypraea quiz, i have trouble on some of the more specific information for quite a few invertebrates, wikipedia just has the taxonomy and time range.

Also how specific do you all go with taxonomy - i generally have Phylum, Class, Order, Family and Genus. Has anyone ever seen questions regarding taxonomic levels such as infraphylum or subclass, etc?

On the C national test from....I think 2 years ago... they had some weird questions about taxonomy, but before then I had only seen what the list gives.
