Does anyone know if the DSO list or the focus of the event has changed for this year (or do I have to wait for official rules to come out)?

DSO list is entirely different, except for Epsilon Aurigae.

Hey. Is anyone willing to message me the DSO list? My Science Olympiad is slightly slow on start up, and I usually hit the ground running alot earlier, so is anyone willing to help out.
Much Appreciated.

I don't think anyone has the official DSO list yet...rules are in the process of being shipped and I suppose they'll get here soon, but they're still on their way.

My coach said that they are late in sending out the rules for all the events so you might be getting them later than usual this year.

Or, rather, post them on the Astronomy Wiki for the benefit of the general public. It would likely be more useful there.

It's not that big of a change... not as much of a change between variable stars and galaxies. I wouldn't be surprised if some normal galaxy questions come up anyway

agreed, but they really upped the level of ambiguity in regards of galaxies. I mean, like I haven't seen so many numbers in the past 3 years. ^__^;
tho it should be interesting regardless.

btw, does anybody know where i can get a copy of the 2010 nationals astronomy test, My team got nailed bad on that one.
