Solar System B

Post by Jim_R »

-The path of the Administrator is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.

-Nothing\'s gonna get deleted. We\'re gonna be like three little Fonzies here. And what\'s Fonzie like? Come on, what\'s Fonzie like?
-Cool?
-Correctamundo. And that\'s what we\'re gonna be. We\'re gonna be cool. Now, I\'m gonna count to three, and when I count three, you let go of your mouse, and back away from the keyboard. But when you do it, you do it cool. Ready? One... two... three.

Really, its almos exactly the same. I myself will be re-using last year's notes, just with a few modifications, plus an additional page of notes.

Last year, what got us was the "physical characteristics", of which we knew nothing.

For us we got caught on the stars and where they were supposed to be.

Do you mean the constellations the planets appear in? If you're having trouble with that, you could download this program called Stellarium that's basically a virtual night sky that lets you see constellations, planets, etc at any date and time (kudos to brobo for showing me this last year) or you could print out star maps from a source like Heavens Above.

Thats funny... thats my strong point :geek:
actually there is a new table on the wiki under Quick Guide to the Solar System (not to be confused with the Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy)
It tells you all about the different planets, information such as distance from the sun or mass or the radius

You're probably looking at last year's rules. Official 2011 rules: "Each team may bring two 8.5" by 11" two-sided pages of notes that contain information in any form from any source, plus a non-programmable calculator with a square root function."

Yup, two pages this year, make sure you're using the right year.
The tests aren't ever going to be the same, except at regionals if the proctor doesn't want to take the time to write a test, they may borrow one. But I doubt that that will happen at State, if that was what you were referring to.
