Road Scholar was amazingly simple. However, it was also amazing how many people couldn't read a map.
For example, my team placed 2nd in Road Scholar. While doing so, we lost our reference materials, our protractor, ruler, USGS map symbol sheet, started late, and skipped half of the test because my partner arrived fifteen minutes into the competition. Isn't that ridiculous? I mean, it was reading a Colorado/Wyoming AAA map. How hard was it? You had the map with you before you took the test.
It's an amazingly easy subject, yet many people take maps too easily and underestimate. I know there definitely will be much more of a challenge at States.
Hey, I'm from Pasteur, 1st place NYC Regionals. I look forward to seeing all of you there! (and, if you're from Razi, we shall defeat you.)
Johnny was a chemist's son, but Johnny is no more. What Johnny thought was H2O was H2SO4.
Johnny should have joined Science Olympiad.
