Remote Sensing C

Post by Jim_R »

-The path of the Administrator is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.

-Nothing\'s gonna get deleted. We\'re gonna be like three little Fonzies here. And what\'s Fonzie like? Come on, what\'s Fonzie like?
-Cool?
-Correctamundo. And that\'s what we\'re gonna be. We\'re gonna be cool. Now, I\'m gonna count to three, and when I count three, you let go of your mouse, and back away from the keyboard. But when you do it, you do it cool. Ready? One... two... three.

Is it true that you can't study for this event?

actually, you can study certain aspects. at the new york state test last year, there was a page on basic knowledge of waves, satellites and such, so that is something one can study. another way to study is to just look at old tests; they often have similar questions and similar methods.

Okay then, that's good. I want to do it this year, so I want to be able to study too.

The people who say you can't study for this event are the ones that don't like the event. It is possible and completely necessary to study for it. I would suggest looking at the Remote Sensing Wiki, especially the 2nd link under 2010 links, which is to a Canadian tutorial that is a good starting place, and you will probably also want to look at certain sections of the NASA tutorial. The hard part to study is the human impact on Earth and the ecology stuff that is included with that. As long as you know the basics behind remote sensing you should be okay though.

The only event that I couldn't figure out a way to study for was Pentathlon- that being said, there's still some way to study for it.

I can't wait to see what this event is all about.
