Yeah, tundra is the more precise term. Here's a question - did anyone receive questions on alpine tundra? I looked very in depth into it but never saw anything.
2010: 5th in NYS
2011: 4th in NYS
2012: 3rd in NYS

nope, for our state test we had things on arctic tundra but nothing on alpine tundra
don't drink and drive; you might hit a bump and spill your drink

Okay, here goes, anyone else notice that like, after states all of the ecology stuff just like, changed? Everything we hadwas really simple but now the sample tests are full of s*** that I've never even heard of. Anyone see that?!?

The booklet for nats reads:

"Ecology (C)
Teams will work at stations that display a variety of earth-science materials and related earth-science questions. (Earth's Fresh Waters)"

o_O Fresh waters? What's up with that?

I think that they should have written Dynamic Planet instead.

What did people think of the nationals tests?
Strath Haven MS:
2008: Regionals-3, States-5
2009: Regionals-2, States-4
2010: Regionals-1, States-2, Nationals-19 :)
2011 (Co-captain): Regionals-1, States-1, Nationals-11 :D

Nationals: Aquifers-37, Compute This-13, Dynamic Planet-25, Ecology-6, Experimental Design-7, Junkyard-33

Our division B test was very . . . short. This was the first Ecology test that I have ever been able to complete on time, and we finished in around 20 minutes. Of course, we spent the rest of the time checking our answers and adding "creativity" to our food webs :lol:

We finished the test in about 20 minutes too. And we had time to check over our answer more then three times :P
