LOL I didn't know that someone would actually make a guide for the DS

I tried downloading it onto my flash cart and it froze. It's probably only for a certain kind...

I wonder if my sister will let me use her DS for this. Probably not.

If you're using outdated firmware enough, you might need to DLDI patch it... though I doubt that. Some carts are more compatible with homebrew than others, which cart do you have?
And its probably just works for the DS slot carts (Slot 1).

One can't run unsigned code on a ds right out of the box.

Also this thing has piqued my interest in making a similar program designed for SO myself, though I'd rather do it for the iphone, as I will be starting (not alone) an iphone development club.

the idea in ID events to memorize all or most of the ID and use the book with best info for questions although this year seemed really easy, the hardest i remember was something about coming with 4 things to help protect a endangered species which was easy if u think about it since there are only like 5 things you really can do, and that was not nationals...

Yeah I was worried about that, I'll continue the ds part of the discussion with pms.

Though how would people here like an iphone application for ornithology? It sounds like an easy enough project to ease me into app development, and would help people here study.

It would have a profile of each of the required birds to know, probably with some background information, but more importantly, several pictures to flip through and several bird calls to listen to.
More importantly, it would have a quiz mode which would show you just the picture and or just the bird call and have you attempt to identify the name of the bird.

Of course thats just thinking preliminarily, I can change it based on the needs of people here.

Sounds good so far for people who don't want to spend money on the bird apps currently in the store.
ornithology, forestry, entomology, triple E, green generation, water quality, dynamic planet (lakes & rivers), awesome aquifers, meteorology, robot arm, write it do it. :)
A cone of depression occurs when you drop your scoop of ice cream on the ground on a hot summer day.
