Lol, i know ... just frustrating.
No matter what the experiment's result, there will always be someone eager to:(a) misinterpret it(b) fake it, or (c) believe it supports his own pet theory.

Re: Ornithology B/C
Ok, so I'm not in Ornithology this year (I was in about ten events and my head coach was giving me the evil eye), but I thought I'd post some tips for what helped me when I was.
- Give little nicknames to the birds. When you see them, you'll think of the name and correlate the real name later. My partner and I always called the Tufted Titmouse 'baseball bird' because it was kind of round like a baseball xD
- Check out the resources at soinc.org. A lot of test writers go there first to get material for their tests.
- If you don't know, guess! Something is better than nothing.
- If you can, color code your cheat sheet and know the colors. It'll help you're brain tell things a part quicker.

What are usually the scores that teams expect at regionals and state?
Does anyone know how well the top team did in ornithology last year?

Raw scores? Sometimes the top 5 raw scores are listed on the nationals tests when they are released that years test packet. You won't know raw Georgia scores unless you get people you know on other teams to tell you how they did.soccerkid812 wrote:What are usually the scores that teams expect at regionals and state?

I am the Lorax. I speak for the trees. I speak for the trees, for the trees have no tongues.

That's interesting Soccerkid812. However For me, the best way to study your id's is repetition, repetition. and when it comes to the day of the event.... Process of Elimination is your best friend.
I reccomend bringing a vocall "Sounds-like" key on your reference sheets.
