Kind of.

There's invitationals which last anywhere from November to February and those pretty much any team can go to. There's another invitational in December called Greenhill and teams from Louisiana and Kansas come for that, so you can come from wherever for invitationals, although usually teams stay instate because of travel and stuff. Regionals are region-specific, however. But again, you can sign up for any regional competition within your state.

Also,

Greenhill schedule is up:

It's a PDF under each division info.

Hello guys, I'm just here (checkin' in!) to say hi!

I'm really looking forward to a year of awesome scioly shenanigans and fun. I'm almost giddy with excitement! This year is going to be so great.
As to Seven Lakes not having enough money... well let's just say that I've seen worse odds before. So look out guys, you're going to get some stiff competition from us this year! We're pretty much guaranteed to show up at Galveston this year (or perhaps the fabled new Houston Regionals). and we have officially signed up for Cy-Falls! So see you guys there.

And srvsball: We aren't doing anything different this year than last year other than the fact we have two teams :P

Oh ya, I have a question for the other Division C teams: If you guys have more than 1 team, how do you guys manage student communication? E-mail, facebook, or just straight up at meetings/practices?

For competitions at Cy-Falls?

This might help! Or just have your coach e-mail the Cy-Falls coach. Your coach signs up for the competition, I believe.
And don't worry about questions :P We were all new to this at one time or another!

I would suggest using all of the above in the hopes that at least half of the team will get the message and then proceed to tell the other half. At least thats how it worked with my team last year :| .
