Zeros are the events that the team did not do. There are 28 events to pick from in TX and you can only compete in 23 events. So they give a zero to the events you drop. There are 5 trial events in each division.

Yes, good luck to Riverwood, Beckendorff and LASA. It's been a crazy week but we finally got our tickets booked. Let's go up to Wisconsin and get Texas known as one of the Science Olympiad powerhouses :D

This is depressing... we were like 4th from the bottom (ok maybe 6th idk)

Whos had tryouts, how many showed up??

I know BDJH had tryouts and we had about 200 ish kids results STILL haven't come out >.<
No matter what the experiment's result, there will always be someone eager to:(a) misinterpret it(b) fake it, or (c) believe it supports his own pet theory.

Try outs for next year already???
Why before school starts?
Do your 9th graders come back?

A lot of us have started this summer but try outs will not be til school starts and this year sounds like it will be a test.

Um... Yeah. We always have try outs in May...
before school starts... because its more convenient i guess

LOL 9th graders. We either have none or 10 x.x
And still no try out results... :/ Ah well...
So what Invites are you guys planning on going to next year? There's a new Division B one- Westview. Looks promising.
