Nahh, not many people knew about it and it was kind of at a conflicting time during the day and a few of us had building events. Hopefully one day, we can make it a concrete event at state and possibly event Nationals.

I wasn't there during B awards, but my mom was telling me Kealing was also doing really well. They're not completely off the map either. I think they're going to be back very strong next year.

And congrats to Beckendorff, Riverwood, and LASA. Let's go to Nationals and show that Texas can also be a scioly powerhouse (:

Kealing was 3rd, behind Beckendorff by 5 points. I can't forecast for next year but I'm impressed.

I have a small question:

On the other hand, Fossils and Chem lab were ran excellently! I really enjoyed the lab portion in chem lab, it was something I haven't really seen before, so that was fun.

What was the Lab in Chem Lab?

That was...interesting.
At the awards when we weren't medaling in a lot of events, we were pretty pessimistic about going to nationals. Although I have to say, CJAP was very disappointing. We had practiced for HOURS for that event and the only thing that held us back was something so little. Nationals is so soon!

Yup the guy ONLY gave us 3 observation sheets (we usually do 200 observations) so he messed up on the numbers!!!!!! :( :(

NICE 7Lakes. Represent KatyISD and Texas well, and of course, LASA. x)

Yeah, we appealed Mission Possible too Mimsie, but it got denied.

Write It Do It Odd block got cut 11 mins from building time, and there was a team that talked to each other (the writer and do-er)

What was the Lab in Chem Lab?

The lab in chem lab was determining an activity series from observations of four unknown metals reacting in their respective solutions. It was a really neat lab from what I saw, though Mimsies was the lab do-er since it was an electrochemistry lab. :P
yeahhhh finally found this account again after three years hiatus xP

YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations to the Seven Lakes team! We've been working REALLY hard this year, and the transformation of this team from even just the beginning of this year to today is outstanding. Someone please tell me anywhere else that can make NATIONALS in just TWO(!) years...cause i can't think of a single place on earth more awesome than 7L :) although i'm biased... but, WOW i'm so proud!
Welcome to Sparta.

At c-jap we put more than one observation per line and had to recopy everything!

Optics 1st with brobo.

WCJH only won 3 medals...
Never trust a computer you can't throw out a window.
1st in optics at TX state.
