First you've got to get through state

Nats is never a given. Focus on state first. Or, better, regionals.

Thanks robotman!

But... what exactly is Model This on the div B schedual? is that a mistype intended to be Exp. Des? I haven't ever heard of it, and it isn't on the list of state events, nor trial events.

Alternate is a word, at least in my school, for kids allowed to come to the tournament but not compete.

Yeah, 7lakes has got a buttload of people this year. (And an awsome buttload of people, i might add :D )

*Sigh* You all make katy sound soooo behind now. We've just finished up fundraising, my coach doesn't have the rules and everyone's confused about events except people who've done this before...

--ok, Model this was a trial event from last year at NATS and i placed 3rd in it. :) it is SOOO fun
--and they would have 34 kids because they have TWO teams, so 15 and 2Alternates and another 15 and 2 Alternates So like an A team and B team, thats the way BDJH (and i think 7L) works as well. -- Oh yeah our alternates work just as hard as the competitors, :]
--and the Green Hill schedule is out too...http://www.greenhill.org/podium/default.aspx?t=117648 but i would assume it is tentative.
You wouldn't have 19 alternates!!! :) ;)
oh yeah, 7 Lakes has an AWESOME team this year!!!! AMAZING!!
No matter what the experiment's result, there will always be someone eager to:(a) misinterpret it(b) fake it, or (c) believe it supports his own pet theory.

We get about that many for states, and depending on whether we fly or bus to Nationals we may have the same number there as well. I was an alternate in 7th grade, but got to go to DC as one of a lot of alternates.
