scratch that, stevenson is 1/2 and 1/2 in Lincolnshire and Buffalo Grove
New Trier isn't actually named after the town it's in, but rather Trier, Germany
I stand corrected!

Adlai E. Stevenson was a loser...he ran for president more than once and obviously never won  . And if we wanna get pedantic, isn't New Trier named that because of the township? That's why we call Winnetka etc. the New Trier area.

Isn't it like that everywhere? :?

mrsteven-Buffalo Grove was 6th in AA? Nice. What's interesting is that the kids who go there come from...Aptakisic? Yeah, they're not very good, at least right now. I dunno about so-and-so many years ago...
... no clue what Aptakisic is....

The feeder middle schools for Buffalo Grove are Cooper, Thomas, and London MS (only Thomas has scioly program)
And Thomas actually feeds two different high schools (Hersey is the other one).

P.S. As far as I know, Hersey is not named after a town, direction or township. It isn't named after a street either (another common naming convention). It isn't a parochial school so it isn't named after a saint.

haha yeah I know, I go to BG so they're basically right down the street. But they haven't been doing too hot in the last few years in SO although their Schol Bowl isn't bad. I believe they beat our JV but Varsity beat them

edit: well its named after a person hence called 'John Hersey High School'

true that. But keep in mind your in MS, in HS you might not even want to do it or have time. Anyways theres plenty of clubs and stuff to do, like im in scholastic bowl too (and EVERY school has a scholastic bowl team) and student council, band, math team, and something else I forgot...

trust me. there'll be stuff to do ^.^
