Dude, nationals just ended! Give your state peeps a few months to recuperate, man. Heck, the events aren't even finalized! Is the tentative 2011-2012 invite, region and state schedule out yet for Washington?
That will probably be decided at the annual meeting on June 18.Is the tentative 2011-2012 invite, region and state schedule out yet for Washington?
Usually the event days are close to same each year in Washington, and we get our schedule out early.. I guess a little early though to askDude, nationals just ended! Yep, that just about sums it upNationals was almost a week ago, any recuperation time is definitely over
Recuperation? I was studying for Rocks and Minerals on the plane ride home on Sunday!Yep, that just about sums it upNationals was almost a week ago, any recuperation time is definitely over
The problem with studying now is that we don't know what the event conflicts will be at next year's state and national tournaments. I'm really hoping that Rocks and Minerals doesn't conflict with Astronomy or Disease Detectives.Recuperation? I'm pretty sure events within the same committee don't have conflicts. Astronomy and Rocks are both "Earth Science," so I don't think they will be scheduled at the same time. As far as ones in separate committees like Disease Detectives and Optics, hope for the best. The problem with studying now is that we don't know what the event conflicts will be at next year's state and national tournaments. Hm, I hope you're right! I wonder whether they're going to schedule the National Tournament alphabetically, like they did this year. Anyway, Minnesota doesn't typically have the same conflicts as Nationals, so we'll see.I'm pretty sure events within the same committee don't have conflicts.
