Arden Middle School got 2nd place at Nationals.

And Troy got 5th. And Muscatel and Mira Loma both got top 10.

why does it have to be split??? is California really that big...and if we are why isn't anyone from california

yes, we r that big, if u look at a map u can see that... and u can see why San Diego and San Francisco dont want to travel that far for the state comp so they divide it in half, and thats why only one from each goes so at CA state competitions it first or go home...

i think it's hilarious how some california schools have so much funding yet we still do horribly

like I repplied to somebody else, knowledge is more important, money means nothing if you don't qualify, it how determined the students/coaches are that really helps...

hey everyone (this is for North Cali) but hasn't experimental design been the same for like 5 years now (@ CSUS) and its like the helicopter paper lab? Is it scheduled to change...like ever?

I'm from SoCal. I'm pretty sure it's the time you put into studying, not the funding, although if you don't have enough funding, you don't really have that much to study.

This great thing called the internet doesn't need funding from your school. You have plenty to study even if you don't get funding.

Building events = the only events that require money. Lets be generous about this and say you need 100 bucks per building event. Do a few bake sales, voila.

And a budget like 100 bucks per building event would probably be for a team thats actually dedicated and competitive, they don't all cost that much.

And the internet is free...you do NOT need money to google. Only time and dedication.

Gee... our team goes through money really fast... not from the school though, just our own money.... haha, wow...
i guess if we HAD to we could get by without it... true though the web is completely free (ok not completely if u want to get technical...)
