They generally make nationals, along with Marie Murphy.

Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to be mean or anything, just trying to be informative here :)

EDIT: This may be a bit unrelated, but does anyone know if New Trier will ever hold an invitational at their school?

Bringing it back to the original topic, for New Mexico state competition we usually get a report like the one that was released after nationals - the placing and points accrued toward team total for said placing. This year, we only got placing. I suppose we could hand-calculate it... but that takes time away from other things (like studying :P). We sometimes get that kind of report for regionals, but we never get individual test scores (astro was 60/65, for example). Since we're going for hosting a brand new invitational (or two) this year, we'll be giving out raw scores and posting tests to the test exchange.

checking the iso.illinoisolympiad.org website, this year they had one? (this is all off my memory, so it may or may not be accurate)

VA posts the results from the State and Regional tournaments online, and all the coaches get a copy.
I think some of the bigger states don't release the results to the competitors/public, only to the coaches.

Sometimes some invitationals get a copy of the scores (we actually got the tests back too!) but...it's an invite, so it doesn't really matter, I suppose.

The biggest state in # of teams - NY (which is my state) gives detailed results of the state competition with points, ranks, and every event. They post it online at the newyorkscioly.org website.

Looks as if VA also gives detailed results: http://www.virginiaso.com/files/2010_20 ... s_DivB.pdf

States that use the Avogadro scoring system can choose to publicize raw scores along with placings. For example, I can see the raw scores of every team in every event at the Boyceville Invitational by clicking on each event number on the results page. It's helpful for seeing exactly how well you and your competition did, but since competitors' names are published too, it could lend itself to the release of data that teams may not want publicized about themselves. :?
