Road Scholar involves reading maps, highway, UTM and topographic, profiling topographic maps, making a map, etc.

Well, it's epic if you really like maps. Which I do. It's like a game, sort of, in that you have to find your way through the test. I think it's cooler than a lot of the other events.

It's actually pretty fun once you get into it. Then again, I took first my last three tournaments so of course I enjoyed it.

FOSSILS FOSSILS FOSSILS I LOVE THEM WITH ALL MY HEART! My partner and I have so much fun learning about them, I am obsessed, and everything about them fascinates me!!! Seriously thinking about being a palaeontologist when I grow up.
Favorite fossil genus: Pentremites
2011 Events: Regionals- Fossils 1st, Ornithology 2nd, Remote Sensing 1st, Food Science (NC) 3rd

i liked anatomy this year... but I really only like the skeletal system =P so next year it's muscular and... digestive? either way, bleh.
so now i think my favorite is ornithology :D
