Yeah... I have to admit the lack of change in the birds list was rather a disappointment.

Umm... I just checked, aside from minor punctuation, spacing, hyphens, and underline changes... they switched the order of Nummulites and Fusulinids, didn't separate the cephalopods into nautiloids, ammonoids, and belemnoids, but rather just put them in parenthesis underneath the word "cephalopods". Changed Stelleroids to Asteroids (like in '09), removed the description "Ray and lobe-finned" from "Bony fish" (like in '09). Changed Synapsids to Theraspids (a order of synapsids, right?) and the ordering of plants list looks like it was in '09, but the specimen aren't any different.

The only really major change is what's in bold: "Copal" underneath "Other"

EDIT: quizbowl got it before me.

Not really, the skulls are quite different. Deinonychus is much larger than the other.
Also, did anyone else hear about this?

Our regional test is BS. First off, the questions are sooo general - like "what is an index fossil." And did i mention its one page front and back, multiple choice, sit down. I finished that by myself in about 2 minutes....and i was pigeon cause i had studied A LOT.

However our state test was actually decent...and i was happy to get 6th, but id love to crack top 3 this year.
