Somebody please explain the local aspect to the Regional and State tests. I do not understand it. Do we need to learn about our native biomes?

My interpretation of that rule is simply that they want event writers to stick to local and regional examples when they write questions about general principles - i.e., if they are writing a carrying capacity question, they should use deer instead of tigers. That's only my interpretation, though, and in the end the event writers will pretty much do whatever they want.

General principles of Ecology are mostly tested. You probably picked up most of what you need to know in Biology class.

Yes, and succession, carrying capacity, populations and communities- the like.
Tip- training handout is always useful.
