Last year we got stuck on the last question, i hope its not the same :?
Yup, two pages this year, make sure you're using the right year.
The tests aren't ever going to be the same, except at regionals if the proctor doesn't want to take the time to write a test, they may borrow one. But I doubt that that will happen at State, if that was what you were referring to.
Some proctors do stuff like that.
For example, my astronomy test at regionals used the same section on epsilon aurigae that it had used in past years.
A new era has begun

So if we basicaly summerized the wiki thing in our notes, would we be able to get a hundred percent??
I hope so because for my notes I am taking all of it from the wiki like last year

The wiki has less than a fraction of all the info you need. I would not only take everything off the wiki, but look elsewhere for graphs, charts, more in depth info about all the planets, more famous astronomers, etc.
At least, that's what I would do...

No one can post the official rules. That's illegal.

I don't think it's specifically stated in the rules, but yes, you should know major discoveries of planets/moons and such. Some other unlisted things you may find it worth your while to study are famous astronomers, pictures of planets/major moons/phenomena, and general vocabulary.

The layers of the sun, phenomena like CMEs, flares, sunspots, etc., the life cycle of an average-sized such as the sun, different kinds of solar eclipses....basically, the more information, the better.

You have to know basically everything that could be considered within the realm of our solar system, from the sun to all the planets, the physic laws that govern them, to the astronomers and physicists that discovered them. You will also need history; from HOW the solar system formed to who discovered pluto. Know all you can about the sun: the layers, the inner workings, and anything you can think of. The same goes for planets. If I say "this planet would be the hottest, but the thin atmosphere doesn't allow for heat to reach the dark side", would you know which planet I'm talking about?

The Test Exchange Wiki is a good place to go, too. There's a few good tests in the 2010 exchange.

shoot thats disapointing : / but I already started looking in the requirements and there are like 12 things we need; history of solar system, info on each planet, ect.
anyways thanks robodude for making me feel stupid

Now, I never had any intention of making you feel stupid- I was simply giving you all the information you needed. No where did I hint at or call you an idiot. I was simply answering your question. Please don't put words into my mouth.

If there's anything you need/questions you have, feel free to PM me.
