i know its a goatsucker, but i cant tell which one it is. anyone have any tips to distinguish them?
2010: 5th in NYS
2011: 4th in NYS
2012: 3rd in NYS

How does the color indicate for each? Their plumages mess me up.

It's a common pauraque.
I think the patterning helps me tell, and relative darkness.
