what web sites do you guys use to gather all the information?

Good ol' Google and Wikipedia is where I got a bulk of my information. But it's important not to just limit yourself to one source. Cross-reference it with other sources, because you'll often find discrepancies (most often with the time range), so in cases like that, get the one that's cited most often.

Also, when I made my binder, I took a couple of handguides out from the library and used them too. Between the handguides and Google, I was able to get information on pretty much every single thing on the list (the only specimen I had trouble getting info for was septaestrea), and remember, most event writers use the same sources that you do. If you're having trouble finding info, chances are, the event writer is as well.

What gneiss said. I have yet to find a website with information on every single fossil on the list (like how I was able to find a complete muscle list), so Google helps. Use common sense with sources, though: .edu sites are extremely reliable; .com, not so much.

Sorry for the double post, but can someone show (with pictures, please

) how to property differentiate gryphaea and exogyra? my godly partner just moved to ornithology, so I'm stuck in a rut.

I'm going to assume diamond-hole.
Rhombus- a square distorted into a diamond
Pore- hole, opening

is the "column" of a crinoid the same thing as a stem? On a test I took they showed a picture of a crinoid stem but didn't give that as an answer choice so i went with column since i thought that that was the next best thing
