I can't count, they are about 4 hours away from me right now and I don't remember the number. (I think I am still missing a medal from our bulletin board as well)

Random idea, but we should post pictures of what our medals look like. I'm actually intrigued to see how different states do their medals.

They're surprisingly similar. Generic design for Science Olympiad medals?

i think so, i think the organization just offers to sell them and the competitions can buy them if they want, because i have one of the generic ones for an invitational to, its smaller than the regional one and says invitational on it, but everything else is the same

here in Illinois, we have the same medals (for regionals and state) as the ones from texas. and i think most states use those ones, they are the regular sci-o ones. i think indiana is just special like that :geek:
the only ones that look different are the ones from invites...

anyways: my 5 years of sci-o = 5 regionals, 4 states, and 2 invites

2004 - 0 medals
2005 - 3 medals
2006 - 6 medals
2007 - 3 medals
2008 - 11 medals
so the total comes to 23, with 7 of those being state medals (3 golds)

i also have 6 ribbons from sci-o camp from a few years ago... but that doesn't count.

i don't know if all of the indiana competitions do medals like those, as the ones that are different are from purdue, but ones from another IN regional are the standard SO medals
