Anyway, I don't want to be all up in his face. We're going to State, and there everything's fresh again. We wouldn't have medaled there, but nonetheless. But if they do that at state, I will throw a fit.

Yeah, I was referring to your coach. I don't mean harass your coach about it, just bring it up if you're ever in a conversation with him.

Obviously you weren't at the state tournament last year: THAT was disastrous. It should be better this year, since its at Clark instead of Eastern Washington, and the board is trying much harder to make sure everything follows the rules.

It was even worse at the Aviation invite - our two teams got 1st and 3rd, which is why we're surprised we didn't qualify two teams. Oh well, there's always next year (at least for sophomores like me )

But I'm guessing your top team qualified?
How small is your region? The NW one had 25-ish teams.

Oh, I was at State last year. I guess this one just seems worse because it was more recent, and I was sick. I was at Clark college two years ago too...this year just pigeon me off, so many of my events were screwy, at State, it was mostly other peoples.

THAT COMPETITION SUCKED.

Microbe and Disese Det. B sucked...they were too short.

Anatomy covered everything, not just Respiratory and Muscular.

People had no idea how to use excel. So many places got put down wrong. My team lost 12 points, probably more.

Then stupid Mr. Brown is all "I think I'm going to stop talking and instead yammer on, just to butterfly everyone off." I don't think he realized that everyone already knew B was between Canyon Park and Northshore, and C was Bothell....and then he announced Canyon Park second, and everyone knew Northshore won....but he kept blathering.

Okay, seriously.
My team was like, "No sh*t, Northshore won."
It was because the proctors/judges/people couldn't grade Ecology C and Exp. Design C fast enough. Well, we medaled for Ecology and got close to medaling for Exp. Design. ;P

Yes, we (Camas) took first. Red team took 8th if I remember correctly.
There were 19 teams registered, but only 17 showed.

The aviation invite was actually up with the Northshore schools like Bothell (they took 2nd there) and Stanwood (4th.)

Someone should post the teams that have advanced to Nationals on this thread as soon as they know. I'm very curious to see how it turns out this year!
