Any other ways to measure distances besides this and the mileage chart?eak227 wrote:On a highway map, each highway will have (some of the) exits marked with squares. Those red numbers mark the distance between the two red arrows it lies between. So if you want to know how far it is between any two exits, you add up the miles of each segment.

None that are particularly efficient. You could always use a ruler and measure as the crow flies if that's really what you want, by using the scale given. That's simple unit conversion.
