Re: Scioly Assassination 75: The Point of No Return
this is the message
If you can see this, you've solved the first part of the clue. Now for the second part.

Now, play fair and don't complain to me about ciphers. This is what the old days were like. The key to that nonsense above is the last line of the chorus of the song referenced earlier.
I wonder what my victim's last words will be...
when that is put through the playfair cipher with the key "this’ll be the day that I die" it results in "palm pest"
I protect Zyzzyva because the beetle associated with his name is a pest in palm trees

Oh, duh. I wasn't getting anything for the rest of the cipher because I was doing it line by line, instead of putting the entire quote in. Good job.

I was putting it through a pad with that as the pad, and I got a random string of consonants.

We don't need one.
I accuse fm because I have a very strong hunch it is him, his name has popped up multiple times saying things about he being the sassy, i have been watching his login times over the past few days and they logically fit with the sassys day long absences at times, and he has been a little suspicious with how he has been acting recently (my opinion), alpha would pick him, the sassy seems experienced and someone mentioned about them being from chat earlier on.
/end game?

Your past failures have already shown you incapable of using login times as a proper tool...
Given the highhorse, I really hope it's not him and you get knocked off.

dude...you haven't even talked to me in the past week..nor have I posted. My login times are always wacky...i have a tendency to not bother to log in unless i have a reason to...or I already am because chrome remembered my log in.
Get off your horse...every time you accuse, you act all high and mighty. You won't even tell others your accusation ideas because "you want to win the game yourself"

Re: Scioly Assassination 75: The Point of No Return
Never one to pass up the theatrical, I left a mysterious note under zyzzyva's door, which simply read: "Plaza. 5:00 AM. Don't bring other people with you." in the same brilliant crimson ink as the previous note. Eager to unmask my identity, he even showed up ten minutes early. When I stepped out from the shadows exactly as the bell tower chimed 5, he shot me an accusatory look and upon recognizing me, gasped, "You? I never thought..." He lapsed into silence for a moment, then said, "I can't let you do this. I can't. I have to stop you." Ordinarily, I would have stabbed him then and there, but I hesitated for just a second, which was a very, very bad idea, as it allowed him enough time to draw a hatchet and rush me. Realizing that I couldn't beat him in a direct fight, since he had a hatchet and I only a knife, I thought fast and came up with a plan just maybe crazy enough to work. I evaded his next few attacks, backing up as fast as I could; when I judged we were close enough I tripped him, sending him headfirst into the town fountain, as I turned tail and fled. Zyzzyva ran after me, still spluttering and soaking wet [and luckily for me, sans hatchet] from his unexpected swim, but I had too much of a head start for him to catch me. On the outskirts of town, I turned back to see that he had woken up about 10 people, including a few of the officers, and gotten them to chase after me as well. Needing a place to hide, I ran for the forest and dived into a dense thicket of bushes, with the hope that they would not follow me into the woods, knowing that I could ambush them at any time. Surely enough, zyzzyva and the officers stopped in the clearing bordering the forest, and turned back, calling as a last parting shot, "You can't escape. Justice will be served."
kjhsscioly has correctly protected zyzzyva98. Have an accusation.
Congratulations Littleboy, that's three strikes for you. You have been voted off the isl- I mean, you have been fired from the police force. I am not fmtiger.
New clue will be up later today. Hopefully.
