So, you all said there was "lots to do" in Atlanta.

What are these activities exactly?

To name a few areas of interest....

1) Georgia Institute of Technology
2) Emory University
3) World of Coca-Cola
4) CNN headquarters
5) Georgia Aquarium
6) Centennial Park
7) Fox Theater
8) Atlanta Botanical Gardens
9) Underground Atlanta
10) Atlanta Zoo
etc...

is it just me, or has nobody mentioned six flags over atlanta?
in kansas we went to a pretty lame park called wild west world, but this year a couple of teammates and I are trying to get the team to stop on the way back.... (one of which being Mr. Cool, an avid roller-coaster fan )
but, we all know the first part of having fun at nats is winning state, so im gonna go study...

Haha I don't know. I went to 6 Flags in ATL and found it rather underwhelming compared to the 6 Flags in LA. Most of the rides were the same only in name, the rides themselves were toned down.

I'm going to nationals this year regardless of anything....and i'm not even in olympiad anymore.

I'm certainly trying my hardest to get IUSOS (the IU SO club that helps out at a bunch of competitions in Indiana and elsewhere) to find a way to help out at nationals this year (and following years). But it is after school ends and we would have to stay over night on little or no budget, I'm not entirely sure it is going to work. I'm obviously out of SO as well but I still want to go.

You have to admit that each team having an element in a huge periodic table WAS a pretty creative idea. Yttrium!
GWU will still always be the best, however. I mean, they had the GWUSO logo on the elevators.

Yttrium! And I agree about GWU, except whoever told me it was "kind of raining" and not that it was a tsunami with water coming out of the drains instead of going in really needs to evaluate their grip on reality.

Me neither. Roller Coasters can sometimes be scary though.

I LOVE roller coasters, I'm always afraid that I'm going to have a heart attack though, those signs have to be there for a reason!

Feista Texas is ok but Eliche Gardens is better cause it has the Minde racer but feista texas has the poltergeist
