Yes and no, the house and senate passed a law that would allow networks etc. great advantages over internet companies like youtube. Per Huffington Post:
Huffington Post wrote:Under current practice, copyright owners such as TV networks and Hollywood studios reach out to websites to request that pirated videos be taken down. Under the new regime, they could ask banks, Internet service providers and domain name registrars to stop doing business with websites that they believed were devoted to piracy. They could, for instance, go straight to YouTube's domain registration company and demand that the entire YouTube website be taken down. And if the registrar resisted, the copyright owners would have the legal ability to take the registrar to court.
It would turn out to be a headache for startup companies. That's what I was thinking of. Could you please specify?

By the way, Lady Epidemic, the reason congress decided to make pizza a vegetable was so that they could continue making pizzas at school cafeterias, where Obama's food policy said it wouldn't be allowed.

I heard that it was the sauce itself that was considered a vegetable. Anyway you slice it, though (pun intended) that's simply ridiculous.

Yes, it's the tomato paste used under the cheese. I think Jon Stewart summed it aptly when he said "It just shows Congress is in the Pocket of Big HotPocket." Also, they consider french fries a vegetable.

My favorite part of all this: didn't they decide tomatoes were a fruit?

I believe that was the botanists, not congress.

Nyih! This is solid proof that Washington is contributing to the obesity epidemic! As well as just about every big food provider in the country! I gave up meat and poultry to rebel against the processed "meat" that has become a staple of the American diet. I saw that the only cheese my school offers in the cafeteria hot lunch is American, which is cheese on steroids - literally. I will never buy any school lunch, I mean, toxin-laced foods. If I must, I will buy salads or whole grain goodness not found in a laboratory! Join me in the Anti-Chemical Movement and show American food providers that we will not dispose of their chem experiments by eating them!

Sorry. I will go on a random rant about almost anything if it is brought up.

So, we should repeal the second amendment to the constitution.
True story.

To quote Ben Franklin, "Anyone willing to give up a little freedom for a little security will deserve neither and lose both."

Well more like to paraphrase Franklin but whatever.
The actual quote is "They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety".
This is not temporary safety, it is a permanent change. Also it was in the context of foreign policy advice, not domestic.

Also the founding fathers are not infallible. For example, they put in the second amendment to the constitution. I disagree. (Although at the time it was a good idea.)
