Well, as far as awards went, I'm happy that they didn't follow what Hopper/Husky did though I do think giving Clements both 1st and second place for sweepstakes wasn't the best idea.

As far as the contest went, the WGYN proctor had to be corrected on the time, WIDI was super screwed up, Chem Lab was nice (written was a bit easy, but they actually had a lab portion which I liked), and SciWord was ok.

That's all I competed in. Overall Hendrickson was ok (at least they made up the events that schools didn't volunteer to do) but the lack of teams made it a major downer.

Well congrats to everyone who went to the Galveston Invitational! I'm not sure who won Division C, but congrats to Beckendorff for winning 1st, and Riverwood for second in Division B.

In division b, we had A TON of issues, both in tests and scoring. At the end, Riverwood was announced the winner, but about 1/2 hr later they realized some scoring mishaps and Beckendorff and Riverwood actually had to switch trophies (which was a little awkward...). Did Division C have the same kinds of problems?

Seven Lakes (my school) won Division C, and the scoring difficulty I noticed was that the trophies were (at least initially) given out by team, not by school, meaning that my team was awarded the second place trophy and the other SLHS team was awarded the first place trophy. Afterwards, my coach talked to the announcer, but I'm not quite certain what happened to the second place trophy (I think my school left with only the first place trophy.).

Lastly, congratulations to everyone who attended the Galveston Regional!

This link is from the official Texas State website:

The second bullet point on the page says exactly the opposite of General rule #2 (http://www.soinc.org/ethics_rules). Could this be a mistake?
