Re: New York 2014
Triple E was a fun event, I liked it a lot. I actually know Siciscio in person, she's super nice and really smart. I saw her last week actually, although I know she's very, very busy.syo_astro wrote:silverheart7 wrote:Are there any more B division New Yorkers that are active on this forum? But the way this board looks... I don't think we'll be able to have another big-fluffy-happy states meet up again this year, and that's making me sad.

Re: New York 2014
Eh. I'd love to go down to see y'all, but that depends on how my old school does and a number of other factors. I should be free on those days. .-.

Re: New York 2014
There's nothing to talk about. Until regionals tomorrow, I guess. And then the next week.

Did you go? If so, which team are you on?Cheese_Muffin_Man wrote:What did you guys think of the Mid-state Regionals? It was pretty fair in my mind
I'm not in that region, although I'm pretty close... I mean, I don't know what you mean by fair. Fayetteville-Manlius won fair and square, but they're just so tough to beat and they really don't have much competition at all. The rest of the schools were pretty close together.

Re: New York 2014
I don't have them exact, but off the top of my head:
1. Syosset A (:DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD)
2. Wantagh A (major props to them, big improvement from last year)
3. Hicksville A (good as usual)
4. Syosset B (yessssssssss)
5. Division Avenue A (awesome builds and amazing help seriously)
6. The Wheatley School? (lol, I think they left before getting a trophy...or something like that)
7. Farmingdale A
8-9. I can't remember exactly, but I know one is Hicksville B and...Bellmore JFK A?
10. Syosset C (lol, idk how, but yay)
It was major work and really difficult to run all that, so I don't think we're doing it next year...but I know my school will probably be willing to help whoever does. It was also pretty fun and interesting, I felt like my school was really changed by some of the people decorating XD. Also, I didn't do too bad myself . Some of the schools that helped us also I can't thank enough really, so onto states! I think also there was a 50-60 pt margin between us and Wantagh A. So sorry they haven't put up the results yet, lots of people have been asking me...I can't explain for them, but the people who helped definitely are busy, and I think everybody is glad it worked out fairly well for our first regional (at least I hope everyone thought so).
