What type of event is "Picture This?"
Picture This is a Lab Event.
I thought it was "inquiry and nature of science" but I'm not looking at a rule book or website.

When my two daughters and a neighbor did PT, it was three people, each taking turns drawing, seeing how many science terms they could draw (up to 25) in 4 minutes; one person draws, the other two guess until they get it right or the one drawing passes because they aren't getting it. If you've played Pictionary, it's a lot like that.

Totally fun event.

It's both. We use build/study/lab on this website because nobody really knows what "inquiry and nature of science" actually means, so it's easier to just call it a lab event. But it's probably an inquiry and nature of science event, officially, on soinc

Yeah, same.

If it replaces Metric Mastery, then it will probably fit in the same categories both ways.

Does anybody know any sample terms they might present for Picture This?
I'm trying to practice with my SO buddy but we don't know what words to try out...
Thanks! :)

This is a start, but I personally think you should start a document with a list of practice words yourself. Some simple terms from events are probably a good idea to know (e.g., _____ front, fulcrum, greenhouse gas, etc.). But remember, the sky's the limit.

When our C div did PT a few years ago, we had a spreadsheet of about 3000 words. The sky IS the limit and that's the beauty of PT.
