Frogs and seaweed? Frogs tell about, um, something about the water? And seaweed is humidity, right? :? :?: :|

According to [url=http://http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frog#Distribution_and_conservation_status]Wikipedia(don't worry, it has a citation),[/url] frogs indicate overall health of an ecosystem, so that's correct. But, I didn't find anything on seaweeds as indicator species. Two species that I was thinking of included 1) Lichens, which demonstrate clean air(as they are sensitive to air pollution) and 2)stoneflies, which require high levels of dissolved oxygen.
