I think this is a good idea. We attempted something like this in the News forum, but it ended up being tough to keep track once the majority of state competitions started going. This will also make it easier to gather info to put on the wiki. So all in all, I support this! :)

I've created a page with what I have so far for each state's state tournament results. I'm sure many of you are more knowledgeable than I on some states, so feel free to update the page with links to results you find or notes that might be helpful (e.g. states that do not have Science Olympiad organizations, states that have policies prohibiting posting results online, etc.).

Ohh... it was on the news forum... I was only checking the old State and National forums

But yes, gathering info for the wiki would be great, since as bernard said, it's difficult to actually get results from many states without having actually been there.

Well, this past weekend the second state tournament of the season, New Mexico, occurred. Originally, West Virginia's first annual tournament was scheduled for this past Saturday too, but due to weather, it has been pushed back to this up coming Saturday. Anyway, back to New Mexico; In Division B, Albuquerque Area Home Schoolers has continued to cling to the top spot for the 5th consecutive year. In Division C, Albuquerque Academy reclaimed first once again, after Albuquerque Area Home Schoolers broke their 11-year streak last year.

Division B
1. Albuquerque Area Home Schoolers - qualifies for the 2015 National Competition
2. Albuquerque Academy
3. Sierra Middle School

Division C
1. Albuquerque Academy - qualifies for the 2015 National Competition
2. Albuquerque Area Home Schoolers
3. Socorro High School

Full results (well, full as they've released) can be found on the New Mexico Science Olympiad website: http://infohost.nmt.edu/~science/olympiad/
And yes, I'm working on getting it all worked out in the wiki.

Well, since no one else is here:
  • South Carolina held its Division B State Tournament this past weekend (Division C will be on March 21), and West Virginia's first state tournament since 2003 was also held. West Virginia's scores are not yet on their website; however, in South Carolina, Bell Street Middle School continues their 12 year streak (making it 13), while McCracken Middle School took 2nd place.
  • In West Virginia's inaugural State Tournament, Huntington Middle School took 1st in Division B, while Huntington Highlander School took 2nd (By that it refers to their Division B team). There is no 3rd place team listed, possibly because there is none (point scores are based on that assumption, plus deductions). In West Virginia C, Huntington Highlander School took 1st, St. Joseph Central Catholic High School took 2nd, and Logan Senior High school took 3rd
South Carolina B
1. Bell Street Middle School(41) - qualified for 2015 Nationals
2. McCracken Middle School(92)
3. Banks Trail Middle School(120)

West Virginia B (Only 7 events were held in Division B)
1. Huntington Middle School (8-10) - qualified for 2015 Nationals
2. Huntington Highlander School (11-13)

West Virginia C (Only 11 events were held in Division C)
1. Huntington Highlander School - qualified for 2015 Nationals
2. St. Joseph Central Catholic High School
3. Logan Senior High School

I see Mounds View won in Minnesota yesterday, and I've heard that Arkansas is delayed until April 18th. Anyone have any other results?
