A moraine is a ridge of deposited sediments from a glacier. There are multiple types of moraines like a medial moraine, terminal moraine, end moraine, and ground moraine.

Run-off from erosion on land, Volcanic plumes from hot spots and hydrothermal vents/ salts in old oceanic seafloor, and human waste/ output into the ocean.

use hide and the human waste is actually organic material like shells from mollusks, but it is close enough

What does tsunami mean in japanese? And what type of tides does Los Angeles have? South Africa?

tsunami = "harbor wave"
LA has mixed tides; South Africa has spring tides
