Re: Forensics C
Hello!
I was wondering if there was a chart for identifying powders that someone would like to share? My partner and I have done multiple tests of our powders, and each time they come out with results that are different from our other charts. We're beginning to think it is an error in the chart, not our tests/testing method. So I was wondering if there was an awesome user out there that would be willing to share their accurate chart? If so, thanks!

is the flowchart we use. The wiki also has good charts of properties.sciencegal03 wrote:Hello!

Thank you! Everything that I have found online I wasn't sure how trustworthy they are, and this really helped.

Re: Forensics C
Does anyone have a good, reliable flowchart for plastics? We tested some plastics today and realized that our flow chart is completely inaccurate. Thanks!

Re: Forensics C
It isn't legal to post the official rules online, but you can buy the rules manual starting September 1st (your school's coach may distribute them to the participants before tryouts). You can also ask questions about the rules on the forums or read the Forensics Wiki page.karan_hooda wrote:I plan on doing this event this year and I was curious about where I could find the rules for this event??

Re: Forensics C
Forensics rules really don't change much from year to year (the only major recent change I can think of is that students can now bring entire binders instead of just 2 pages of notes), so if you have rules from a previous year or can get them from a coach/teammate, you should be able to get a pretty good idea of what the event will be like this year.
