Back feet. Mudpuppies have four, mole salamanders five. Plus, mudpuppies are much larger.

ok sorry 'nother question: how do u tell the difference between all these frog calls? i mean, they sound different and everything, but they sound like they greatly vary even within the family/genus
once i thought i got the treefrog call down i hear one more and it sounds completly different!

one more thing: does ne1 know nething about the Clemmys genus of turtles or know some good links to find out about them because thats like the only thing i can't find nething 4

First of all, if the frogs are the same sepcies but their calls sound different its probably because its a male and female.

Second of all, go to google and look up Clemmys, once there advance search and type in Clemmys genus of turtles.
