285 is 3·5·19 (three prime numbers is pretty cool), 1 + 4 + 9 + 16 + 25 + 36 + 49 + 64 + 81, the total number of Rules of Acquisition in Star Trek, 555 in base 7, and is divisible by the sum of its digits (285 / (2 + 8 + 5) = 19).

The number 300 is a triangular number and the sum of a pair of twin primes (149 + 151), as well as the sum of ten consecutive primes (13 + 17 + 19 + 23 + 29 + 31 + 37 + 41 + 43 + 47).
