The hide bar (in white with bolded text in the original post) can be clicked to reveal the question. You should also put your answer in a hide bar, like so:

Code: Select all

You've been bamboozled Unome...the bots are getting so good the can fool the mods...

Planned on making one of these cause I never saw it.
1. Grassland: deep root systems and flexible stalks. Desert: waxy coatings and photosynthetic stem.
2. The free benefits humans get from an ecosystem. An example is a clean source of water.
3. Fire helps to maintain the open vegetation structure

I'm pretty sure that's correct, but how about having more water absorbing body's for the desert as an adaptation. :geek:

I guess I’ll give a question then.

Given a species is in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium and has two alleles, H and W, where the frequency of H is 32%, what proportion of the population is heterozygous HW?

2*0.32*0.68 = 0.4352, so rounding to 2 significant figures, 44% of the population is heterozygous HW.

A population has 250 individuals at the start of a 3-year monitoring period. By the end of the monitoring period, 12 individuals emigrate from the population, 23 individuals join the population, 17 individuals die and 26 individuals are born. What is the average annual growth rate?
