My entire team used to practice in groups (even though only two were doing the event, obviously). I think pjgscioisamazing said something about it. That was the best. I miss this event so much (even though it was never my event).

There's a board of directors who choose which 25 events will be done in a given year, and then there are the coaches who choose which person does which event. Which one did you mean?
The board of directers then.

science word was my fav event ever! i was better in 6th grade than i am now, because my bff was is SO and we actually know each other so well we could understand each other even if she said:

maggie: big, hairy
me: arachind!!!!

and so on
That is like me and sadistic_cottancandy
I was like:Brayan G
And she was like:GEL!!
(He wore quite abit of gel in his hair)
09 events: Disease detectives, Road scholar, wright stuff, pentathalon, and robo-cross.

It's all fun and games until someone gets their fingers stuck together with super glue, then it's just funny!

Oops, sorry, it is 23. There are two trial events in NY that also count toward your score at Regionals and States... so I usually think of it as 25 events.

The trial events count??? :o But they're called trial events. Doesn't that suggest that they're not really supposed to count, they just try out the event?

Well, in NY they do. They're usually pretty well run, though, so the only problem is that the rules are slightly less clear than they would be on a real event.
