I knew all of them except the last one and looked it up quickly and it looked like it was specific but I'm not sure.

https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/ag ... amandridae This source seems to say it occurs accross all species, i am guessing the skin smooths out to decrease drag when they go to water to breed?

Desmognathus and Dusky Salamander.
Greek = Desmos and gnathos = Ligament and Jaw = Large ligaments run in the cheeks
