Some of the questions I was asked was how much of the water michigan get is filtered and what percentage is used for water like baths, sinks, etc. Most of the stuff was really hard to find.

There are a lot of good search tips that I found very helpful. I think one of them is a google tutorial that applies to a lot of other sites, including USGS.
Strath Haven MS:
2008: Regionals-3, States-5
2009: Regionals-2, States-4
2010: Regionals-1, States-2, Nationals-19 :)
2011 (Co-captain): Regionals-1, States-1, Nationals-11 :D

Nationals: Aquifers-37, Compute This-13, Dynamic Planet-25, Ecology-6, Experimental Design-7, Junkyard-33

Moving to C...

Does anyone want to share loose questions from Regionals? I need to practice, but I want to use the USGS website. If you want to trade questions, just PM me.

I don't think past tests used the USGS domain, though.

I'm sure that the kids that actually made the website took longer. It's bad enough that your coach decided that it was his right to give away another team's hard work to you; I think it would be even worse to post the website here.

i would count that as cheating your coach took it from the computers history not by asking the website address from one of the competitors so they have no way of knowing that you are using it so i would call that cheating

Compute This is my specialty event and the best I have done this year is 3rd at Ridgeview (I'm in Ohio). At the last tournament, our homeschool tournament (WL-S ftw!), after the competition was over, my Compute This coach was going around clearing all the history and found the website of Sewickly Academy, from Penn. I believe? They came in 5th place at the invitational. So I took the liberty to copy every single thing word for word, page for page, link for link, attachment for attachment...yeah it took awhile. I also took liberty to add stuff for myself.
Monday we took a Compute This practice test (me and my partner beat our other compute this team :D ), every thing except one short answer question was found through a link on our site, and then I found the answer and added it (got it right =D).
I was wondering if there are any major things I should add to the site to help us better? Regionals is this Saturday, and it would be the first tournament having the website, so I'm hoping we do good but I need to make sure. Anything I should need to add?
(PS wanna know Sewickly's Compute This website? )

I think it would be counted as cheating as your team did not actually do the work and are using it for your advantage, and your coach shouldn't have done it in the first place.
