Scores
Hi guys,
I was wondering what scores would be competitive. We are averaging around 4 seconds about 10 cm off with bonus. We have an invitational coming up soon, so we would like to know where we stand.
Feel free to post scores below.

Re: Scores
Hi guys,
Just to try and keep the ball rolling (with myself cough cough)...
My partner and I have tested on a couple different surfaces. These floors each have different types of flooring (ex: linoleum, a waxed gym floor). that hasn't really caused us any issues. However, the slope/tilt of floors have caused our vehicle to sometimes veer off to the side. For example, if a floor is slightly tilted to the right, the car follows in that direction. Our distance covered is relatively consistent, however, the tilt of the new flooring we tested on today resulted in our car veering off to the side (missing bonus). Is there any good way to account for this?

Re: Scores
first you should try to find the flattest possible surface. At a competition, the floor should be flat, and if it isn't, it should theoretically be equally as bad for all of the other teams.

Re: Scores
What are some of the best scores you have seen at competitions so far?
I've seen a team get 1.7 cm off and a 3.27 second time. Kinda confused me, because on their second run, they got 15 cm off, so idk if it was a fluke or legit. Either way, an impressive score of -11.66.

Re: Scores
Scores vary so much. We have gotten down to getting at least a sub 20 score at worst. Best around -10.

Re: Scores
Very true. Similar situation. It does vary greatly. Perhaps I should rephrase my question to be oriented against luck and deviation.
What are the best times you have seen (As this is generally very steady) among competitive cars (<10 cm) ?

Re: Scores
Will not compete for a couple more weeks but with my slow car (around 5 seconds) I can hit under 3 cm consistantly with 2 tries at a target (have hit the mark perfectly a few times). My fast car I have yet to tame... but it looks cool Accuracy is not anywhere near my slow car yet.

Re: Scores
Very similar story for me. I have a significantly quicker car but my accuracy needs a lot of work. I'm only able to get within the range of <10 cm each time. Need to improve.
