Camas is too high up imo.

I don't think either of them brought their full team though, so things could be different

Re: Way Too Early Predictions
I would be very surprised if Northville finishes outside the top 15 or if Boca Raton finishes that high.BoostedSheki wrote:Adi1008 wrote:They wereknottingpurple wrote:

Re: Way Too Early Predictions
Is there any reason you're expecting Camas to place that high though? They placed outside top 20 in 2015 and 17, and didn't make it in 2016.BoostedSheki wrote:Adi1008 wrote:They wereknottingpurple wrote:

Re: Way Too Early Predictions
Div C:
1. Troy
2. Mason
3. Harriton
4. Solon/Centerville (my pick is Solon)
5. Seven Lakes
6. Stevenson
7. LASA/Clements (honestly impossible to tell)
8. Mounds View
9. Northville
10. New Trier
11. Mira Loma
12. Columbia
13. Acton Boxborough
14. Montgomery/WWP North
15. Ward Melville
16. Rustin
17. Chattahoochee
18. Enloe
19. Fairfax
20. Carmel
Some comments: it's hard to place schools like Chattahoochee and Enloe that haven't competed at many out-of-state invitationals. Mira Loma has been underperforming at invites this year but they might not have been sending their best teams? Hard to imagine Mira Loma not placing near the Top 10. Also almost all of the predictions thus far have forgotten Columbia, and they've been doing really well.
Teams that might break into Top 20:
Brockwood, Clark, Ladue, Camas, Boca Raton, Troy (Michigan)
Sorry if I forgot anyone or under/overestimated your team T.T

Re: Way Too Early Predictions
I was at Golden Gate and I saw that a bunch of medals were taken by Camas and Boca Raton at GGSO and PUSO, so I'm pretty sure they'll do a lot better than they did last year. I just checked the nationals scores both teams got last year, BR did great but Camas not so good. BR got beat this year by Camas at PUSO (then again, i have no clue if either of them brought their full team, Princeton is pretty dang far from both schools).allopathie wrote:Is there any reason you're expecting Camas to place that high though? Re: Way Too Early Predictions
It is definitely tough; there seem to be a lot of good teams. When I get around to doing one of these, I may do a top 25 just to mention everyone I want to.fanjiatian wrote:Div C:

That being said, I do believe Ladue will be in the top 20. They were 11th last year and I don't believe they are too much worse this year, if at all. I wouldn't necessarily be surprised if their score is close to or better than it was last year, and they have a ranking around 14th from teams around them having score improvements as well.

Can verify Boca Raton brought their full team.BoostedSheki wrote:I was at Golden Gate and I saw that a bunch of medals were taken by Camas and Boca Raton at GGSO and PUSO, so I'm pretty sure they'll do a lot better than they did last year.
