Your first one is correct, however the 2nd is wrong.

I believe #2 is 32.5° W .

No your overthinking it
How big is a basic quadrangle?
Hopefully that helps

Um. 7.5 seconds.

7.5 minutes so the answer to number 2 would be 30 degrees 7 minutes 30 seconds west
EDIT: sorry for vagueness in my hint, but I meant that since a USGS quadrangle is 7.5 minutes by 7.5 minutes you could use that to determine the neat line of the neighboring quad

2. UTM is measured in (answer as [unit of measure] [two directions])
3. How many sections are in a township/range?
4. How are the sections in a township arranged? (feel free to draw a picture)

As my partner said, my Road Scholar career is also over. Except he gets another year and I don't  .

Here's a question set:

Creve Coeur 1954 Quadrangle
Image

1. What quadrangle is SE of this one?
2. Now that you're there, calculate the latitudinal, longitudinal, and UTM coordinates of the flag on my school, depicted as "Watkins High School."
3. This high school is next to a ________ road.
4. US-40 got upgraded to what is now I-64 during this time. When one leaves the map on this highway going east, how many miles does it take to reach I-170?
5. This E neat line has a value of ________.
5. Deer Creek also exits the map close to this neat line and flows in a ___ direction.

For more questions check out the three tests I posted on the test exchange ;)

Err, calculating lat/long/UTM online is a Herculean effort, so...
